Okay, I’m an idiot!!! (Trollhunters Ending Revelation)

So, someone pointed this out to me recently and I just want to cry!! HERE ME OUT………….the ending to Rise of the Titans is actually better than you think cus there were some details I think were meant to be more obvious than they came across.

FIRST - We’re all peeved that going back in time erased everyone’s memories and therefore relationships and character development. However, when they go back Tobey is suddenly able to climb the rope in gym class and Claire seems to be paying attention more to Jim than last time. Especially when he is giving his speech at the audition, having a rewatch made me realize as soon as he starts speaking she has a look of recognition, almost like she thinks she’s heard this speech somewhere before. Not only that but Barbara and Stickler got along incredibly quickly for 2 people who had only just met. These imply they have some sort of subconscious memory of the last timeline, WHICH considering Nari said time is NOT linear makes sense, cus if it was liner everything would be exactly the same as the first time without these subtle changes. Also, Nari said the ninth configuration is the key, the amulet would only work after they figured this out, if that’s the case maybe Nari knew the amulet would to some degree protect them from complete amnesia, they just need to be ‘woken up’ so to speak. (Also since Merlin and Nari will be alive again they might actually be able to help with this too, especially Nari, she’s the demi-god that gave them this advice for goodness sake!!!)

SECOND - The new amulet is 'For the good of all’ which does tie directly into going back in time to save EVERYONE.

THIRD - Jim went back in time using the new Akiridion amulet, that means HE STILL HAS IT!!!! The message of the entire movie with Jim is that he now doesn’t need the original amulet to be the Trollhunter, he always has been and always will be. Thats why the original amulet chose Toby instead of Jim the second time, it knows Jim doesn’t need it anymore and can continue fighting as he is, he will ALWAYS be the Trollhunter with or without it. Jim also knows if he sticks to the original time things will end up the same and his friends that had died will still die, he’s urging Toby to be the new Trollhunter to protect him in the coming fights.

There were a couple more points and details but honestly it’s 3am and my ADHD brain has forgotten the rest and lost the TikTok I watched 😅

Overall tbh I’m still not happy with the ending, BUT having these pointed out has given me a different less hostile viewpoint on it. I certainly think it’s plausible that this was intended but didn’t come across very clearly to audiences (myself very much included). Either way, however you wanna interpret it I’m sticking with this as cannon cus if fills me with a lot more hope for the ending than how I originally felt and I don’t know about you but I like feeling happy! 🤣

I am pretty sure this isnt what the writers intended but it is sure as hell more convincing! Plus it connects really well with my fav fanfiction wich takes place after the events of the movie (your future is hasnt been written yet).

Sooooooo…..don’t think I’ve ever actually done this, I drew my OC for Trollhunters! Not only have I never drawn one of my OCs, I don’t tend to post personal work either. Dunno why but I just love how this came out so much and wanted to show it round to some people who might appreciate it. She doesn’t have a name yet but she is a Changeling Wizard, the idea is that after all the children were rescued from the Dark Lands she was still able to retain her human form due to glamour magic. I’ve got a backstory and beginning of a plot for her but not sure how far it’s gonna go or if anyone would even be interested! Anyway, here’s my random art dump 😂

I have a sudden desire to read a Douxie’s sister x Krel fanfiction and I will not be satisfied till I have witnessed it!!!

Trollhunters Ending FIXED!!!

So….I’ve recently binged this entire series, fell in love with it and promptly gotten heartbroken at the shitty ending the movie gave us. SO!!!! I have seen many people hating on the ending and pretending it and the movie didn’t exist. I came up with an idea that I am permanently using as a replacement for the ending that I’m pretty happy with. I can’t write dramatically for shit BUT I can scribble ideas! If anyone wants to flesh this out into a one shot fic PLZ TAG ME JUST SO I CAN READ IT!!!!!

(also this is gonna read more like a screen play for a movie cus I’m a vid editor and that’s how I picture stuff, doesn’t always translate well into a written story! 😅)

- So everything stays the same up until Jim uses the kronosphere to go back in time

- Instead of going back to the beginning and changing everything, he travels back to when the Arcane order had finally gotten a hold of the real Nari

- Everything is still happening around him but is dead silent as if he were deaf and in slight slo mo as he gets his bearings (not actually deaf, just that kinda cinematic idea for drama!!)

- Looks around and sees everyone alive gathered around (maybe some sappy or quiet music plays on top of him seeing everyone alive, I dunno!!!)

- As this is the past they don’t know Jim just came from the future and are instead focused on glaring at something

- IRL sound hits back in like a huge thud, LOUD AF!!!!

- Jarring Jim to turn around and see the Arcane order hovering in that same ball of magic that surrounded them the first time (that’s what everyone is glaring at btw!)

- This is when realization for Jim sets in and he knows this is his second chance

- The music from the credits in the original film (or something like that) starts to build up (in my head it’s like him and the music are going “not this fucking time!”)

- He transforms into his new armour (either cus it came back in time with him or cus now he knows about the 9th configuration, your choice!)

- Camera and everything is focused on the transformation as the music is building but you can see everyone in the background looking either shocked or like “HELL YEAH!!” when they see Jim finally transforming again

- Quick dramatic shot focusing on the Arcane order still performing their spell, t

- Some sort of cheesy/bad ass hero shot showing off everyone gathered together as the “9th configuration” and ready to kick ass

- Close up on Belroc looking pissed as they realize Jim has transformed and everyone is gathered to fight

- Equally cheesy close up on Jim quietly but determinedly saying something like “not this time” or “my turn” (I can’t do dialogue I’m sorry!!!;)

- Jim jumps into fight with everyone following behind

- Final shot of everyone running toward the camera (Arcane order) and cuts to black with Jim swinging Excalibur at the camera.

- As it cuts to black the outro music (roughly 20 secs into it) hits the beat drop at the same time as the credits start!

Cliffhanger-ish ending, doesn’t get rid of the whole story, leaves it up to imagination on who still lives and dies, doesn’t undo character development, has more of a feel good “HELL YEAH!!” ending to it (at least for me!) Doesn’t feel like a definite ending but has enough to still feel like Trollhunters isn’t just over and wrapped up nice and nearly with a pretty bow! For me this works and I’m happy to pretend this is canon. Tbh 90% sure this looks cooler in my head than how it’s written down, I might get round to making a vid edit for it on YouTube (cus that’s my specialty) but dunno if anyone actually wants to see that!

As I said I’m not a writer so apologies for this chaos!! I don’t usually post these things that I think about (cus I’ve also imaged a better ending for game of thrones!) But I just really wanted to share this in case someone else also enjoyed the concept or in case anyone wants to translate this mess into something coherent!

Heard this in the new Dragon Prince season 4 trailer, after watching I decided to binge the show again. Just got to the part where Viren sees Aaravos in the mirror for the first time and I realised something, Viren only sees him when he puts out a fire and the room goes black then Aaravos appears.

Aaravos, a star touched elf, is the fallen star, we’ve theorised this since we noticed the star on his chest is blacked unlike other star touched elf designs. You can only see him through the mirror when you look at it in darkness.

This is how Callum is going to meet Aaravos, he’s gonna find this line somewhere and either purposefully or accidentally look at the mirror in the dark. I’M SO CALLING THIS!!!!!!

Also getting very worried that Callum is going to follow the same path as Viren by getting manipulated by Aaravos the same way he did.

YOOOOOOO!!!! GRACE AUGUSTINE HAD A NA’VI DAUGHTER!!!!!

Hear me out!!! Avatar: The Way of Water trailer, the Na’vi girl swimming underwater, we have been told officially that she is Kiri, Jake and Naytiri’s ADOPTED daughter. Now in both the trailer and this official pic of her (the one below) you can see she has eyebrows, 5 toes, and 5 fingers/4 fingers 1 thumb!

These are traits shared ONLY by avatar bodies that have inherited these attributes from their human counter parts DNA. So not only is she part human is some form and yet is not biologically related to Jake, she is also PLAYED BY SIGOURNEY WEAVER!!! AND, again in the pic she is watching a video log of Grace, to me this implies she has a connection with Grace. All this, along with the fact she seams as fascinated with botany and plants in the trailer as Grace was, I am calling it, Grace had a daughter with a Na’vi. I would say most likely before Grace’s school was shut down, especially as Kiri is noted as being the eldest of her siblings. Avatar 2 is said to be 14 years after the first movie, Grace’s school shut down 2 years before the start of the first movie, meaning if Grace had her before the school closed she would be a MINIMUM of 16 years old, she is only noted so far as being a teenager so this is certainly a possibility.

It would also make a lot of sense, Grace became so close to the clan, put 10 years of her life into the school and living with the Omaticaya, the idea of her meeting someone and having a child in secret is not unsurprising (I mean tbh it’s not like the Na’vi have birth control!) Yo, Jake got hitched in 3 months so 10 years it is more inevitable than speculative considering that! And seriously has she ever been one to ‘follow the rules’ her moto from day 1 was ‘fuck the RDA’ so I doubt she’d be second guessing if she met someone in the tribe.

It also makes sense as to why she so desperately wanted to get back to the clan, yes she wanted to see them again but she also wanted to see Kiri. I’d imagine only she and the father knew of the child so most likely to keep her safe they decided Kiri be raised in the clan with her father, probably telling a lie of ‘she’s adopted’ or ‘her mother died’ so no one knew it was Grace. If she’s now the adopted child of Jake and Neytiri then I’d imagine the father died during the battle at the tree of souls, whether they know she’s related to Grace or not I’m unsure. Maybe it was even a case of they raised Kiri in secret until the shooting at the school, in the panic when Grace was getting all the kids out she new it wasn’t safe for Kiri anymore so took her along with the other children back to home tree.

Which ever scenario it is, her biology, the scene cinematography with the new character played by Sigourney Weaver WATCHING the old character played by Sigourney Weaver, personality similarities, physical similarities, timelines adding up, I’m convinced on this one. Kiri is someone how, one way or another, related to Grace Augustine, and I believe she is her daughter.

So, what I remember is it was a time jump to the First Order already defeated thanks to Ben switching sides and helping the resistance. (Can’t remember if it was post Force Awakens or Last Jedi but it was 1000% written before Rise of Skywalker came out)

Ben and Rey are together and teaching a new grey Jedi academy.

I believe they were on Chandrila, if not it was definitely a city like planet and not a forest one, more like the original Jedi temple from the prequels.

Finn and Poe are also dating and I believe they end up adopting a young girl towards the end.

I saw once a fanart on tumblr of one of the scenes in the fic where Ben takes Rey to a lake for a kinda picnic and they dance among fireflies and he proposes. I can’t remember who but an amazing artist did a drawing of this scene.

The antagonist in the end turns out to be one of the academy students (I believe it was the student that was the same species as Darth Maul, if not well there was still a student that was the same species as Darth Maul! 😂)

I think Ben has a new purple lightsaber but not 100% sure of that one.

Hux is in prison and Ben goes to interrogate him at some point.

Pretty sure they have a kid too towards the end-ish.
